Fetches the page and tests its first 25 unique links in parallel (HEAD, GET fallback).
About the Broken Link Checker
The Broken Link Checker fetches a page, extracts its links and tests up to 25 of them in parallel — internal and external, with HTTP status and response time, dead links sorted to the top. For checking a prepared URL list instead, use the Bulk Status Checker.
The first 25 unique http(s) links of the page, checked in parallel. Run the tool on further subpages to cover a whole site section.
Some sites block automated requests (403), rate-limit, or require cookies. Treat 403/429 as "verify manually", while 404/410 and DNS failures are genuinely broken.
Directly only a little — but they waste crawl budget, leak link equity into dead ends and signal neglect to users. Fixing them is cheap wins.
