WordPress Theme Detector

Identify the active WordPress theme (name, version, author) and every plugin visible on a page.

About the WordPress Theme Detector

The WordPress Theme Detector reads a site's public HTML, identifies the active theme (name, version, author from its style.css — including child/parent relationships) and lists every plugin that loads assets on the page. Handy for competitor research or "which theme is that?" moments. Works purely on public markup — nothing is probed beyond the page and its stylesheet.

Caching/optimization plugins and custom builds can rewrite or hide /wp-content/ paths. In that case even the theme slug is not exposed — which is exactly what those plugins are for.

Only plugins that load assets on the scanned page reveal themselves via /wp-content/plugins/ URLs. Backend-only plugins stay invisible.

Yes — the tool only reads the public HTML the site sends to every visitor. Nothing is probed beyond the page and its public theme stylesheet.
