About the Text to Speech
Text to Speech uses your browser's built-in speech engine to read text aloud — pick from the voices installed on your system (including German and English), adjust rate and pitch, and pause or stop anytime. Nothing is sent to a server.
Whatever voices your operating system provides — typically a dozen or more. The voice dropdown lists all of them with their language codes.
The Web Speech API plays audio live but does not expose a recording; for downloadable audio you would need a TTS service.
