About the Image Converter
The Image Converter changes image formats — PNG ↔ JPG ↔ WebP — via local canvas re-encoding. JPG conversions get a white background where transparency existed; WebP typically produces the smallest files.
WebP for web images (smallest), PNG for graphics needing transparency, JPG only where legacy compatibility demands it.
